Each table begins as a tree. The natural form of the trunk, the reach of the branches, the texture of the bark. We don't impose a design. We reveal the one that's already there.
Every piece starts with a walk through Georgia's hardwood forests. We find fallen trees, storm-felled trunks, and cleared timber with the right character: interesting branch patterns, solid heartwood, bark worth keeping.
The base takes form from what the tree gave us. Narrow logs and clustered branches are cleaned, stabilized, and joined to create a sculptural foundation. The slab is cut to let the natural edge speak.
Bark stays or goes, your call. The wood is sealed to last generations while preserving every grain line, knot, and curve. What arrives at your door grew in Georgia soil before it held your morning coffee.
The branch base isn't decoration. It's the architecture. Each table's silhouette is determined by the natural growth pattern of the wood it came from.
The signature BoughMade form. Narrow logs or thin branches rise from the floor to cradle the slab above. The tree's own growth pattern becomes the table's legs.
Keep the full bark texture for a raw, woodland feel, or strip it back to reveal the smooth cambium layer beneath. Each choice creates a different piece entirely.
The tabletop preserves the tree's natural outer edge. No two slabs share the same profile. The wood's original contour becomes the table's defining line.
Oak, walnut, pecan, cedar, cypress. Sourced from the forests and farms of the Southeast. Every species brings its own color, grain, and story to the finished piece.
The Southeast grows some of the most diverse and beautiful hardwoods on the continent. BoughMade works with what this land produces: rich walnut, golden pecan, aromatic cedar, ancient cypress. Each piece carries the character of where it grew.
Custom tables, coffee tables, end tables, and statement pieces. Made by hand in Augusta, Georgia from trees that earned their shape over decades of growth.
